GreenFlame Biomass Briquettes are 100% Irish grown carbon neutral fuel made from an

energy crop called Miscanthus (elephant grass), grown in the South East of Ireland.  These

briquettes have the same net calorific value as peat briquettes (17.76Mj/kg), very low ash

at 2-3%, they can be used in open fireplaces and solid fuel appliances, they are

smokeless and long burning (over 1 hour in an open fire).
