Green Flame is a farmer owned Company that grows, processes and supplies bio-energy products in the South East region

Green Flame, a trading name of Wexgen Ltd, is dedicated to the production and processing of bio-energy fuels and the delivery of integrated heat and power technologies and energy solutions for consumers in the South East region.

We have significant experience in growing Miscanthus in the southeast since 2006. The company currently has 6 directors and our offices are located at The Farm Centre in Enniscorthy. We are offering farmers a viable alternative enterprise and contract our growers to supply biomass guaranteeing them a minimum price.

Locally Owned

Green Flame is a private limited company wholly owned by local growers. Green Flame are now covering counties Wexford, Waterford, Wicklow and Carlow.

Over the next 5 years Wexgen will create employment in the region and foster much needed expertise in the developing bio-energy industry.

Fuel Supply & Briquettes

We supply Miscanthus as a fuel in bale form for large industrial boilers and combined heat and power (CHP) units.

We are now about to begin processing briquettes from our crops, which are greener and cleaner than any other briquette on the Irish market. Our briquettes are made from Miscanthus, straw and oilseed rape.
